Prefects Training Camp (Part 2)

The prefects training camp (Part 2), which was jointly organized with YWCA, was held successfully on 18 December 2021.
Through the training camp, the prefects have further developed their leadership skills and enhanced their confidence after completing a series of adventure-based activities designed by YWCA. The student leaders built the highest tower using LEGO bricks in a short period of time. Through the game, they learned about communication with their groupmates, different tactics to build the tower and how to assign duties in a group. In the second game, prefects needed to travel from one wooden block to the other wooden block with ropes and a bench. The activity helped them to build up a stronger sense of teamwork. Moreover, prefects learned how to overcome difficulties. Finally, the game “high touch” which involved a paper being stuck on a high wall. Players were required to paste a memo written about a personal goal. To help teammates to paste their memo, a strong bond needed to be established between groupmates. This game tested the physical strength and coordination of the prefects.
