Athletics Meet 2026-27

The Annual Athletics Meet was held at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground on 16th September and 17th September 2026. There were 511 athletes from 4 Houses, namely Anselm, Bancroft, Cranmer and Grindal that took part in 90 events. The highlights were the 2388m race for teachers, house relays as well as the parents and teachers’ relay. Bancroft won the cheerleading championship and Cranmer won the overall championship with 794 points. The event was successfully held with the concerted effort, dedication and enthusiasm of all athletes, House committee members, student officials and teachers.

An amazing 3 records were broken, including Senior Boys’ Individual and Boys’ Open events:

In the Boys B grade events, the oldest Shot Put record was long-standing set in 1984-1985 (Chan Pang, 11.98m, Augustin) and the new best record was set by 4C Lin Yin Yuk (12.15m, Grindal).

In the Boys A Grade events, the oldest 1500m record was long-standing set in 1988-1989 (Li Yiu Fei, 04’44”40, Laurentius) and the new best record was set by 5D Peng Chi Yuen Matthew (04'40''60, Grindal).

For the Boys Open 3000m, the oldest record broken dated back to last year (Peng Chi Yuen Matthew, 10’26”82, Grindal), and the new best record was set by the same student (09'52''14, Grindal).

It was a great milestone achieved as our students showed tremendous talent and spirit at our Annual Athletics Meet.
