The Diamond Jubilee Speech Day was successfully held on 13th January 2023. It was our pleasure to have Professor Johnny Sin from the HKUST and Mr. Richard Tang, JP, to be our guests of honour presenting certificates and prizes to the graduates and prize winners. The IMC managers, former principals and teachers, senior alumni who had graduated for more than 50 years, as well as the PTA members and principals from other schools, all joined the celebratory event together with the parents and teachers.
The ceremony started with the opening prayer of Mr. Louis Pong and opening address of the Revd Lysta Leung, followed by the annual report of Principal Yuen. Then Prof. Sin shared about his life story in his speech to encourage the graduates to face challenges boldly.
Despite the difficulties the graduates had encountered due to the pandemic, with the concerted effort by all teachers and students, they finally overcame the challenges and gathered in the school hall to celebrate their achievements that evening. The event was full of joy and warmth. It is hoped that our graduates will have a bright future when they move on to a new stage in their life.
