It has long been a tradition for our students to perform social service. Our school launched the Service Learning Programme in 2018 to enhance students’ commitment to serving the community, nurture leadership qualities, and instill empathy and kindness in the students. All F.4 students are requested to complete a certain number of service learning hours or a particular number of service learning activities by the end of the school year.
Through this programme, students can:
● understand the needs of others
● show respect, love and care to the needy
● help others with the knowledge they have learned in school
● gain life experiences that cannot be learnt from textbooks
● develop a stronger sense of belonging and responsibility towards our community
● explore their own potential
The Service Learning Team, Community Youth Club (CYC), Volunteers of TSK (VOT), Civic Education Team, Environmental Education Team and PE Department jointly organize a wide range of service learning activities. The following activities have been organized for the students in the past few years:
