Chinese Culture Festival

      The “Chinese Culture Festival” was held from February 23 to 27, during which a diverse program of activities was arranged.

      The Chinese Language and Culture Society, Mathematics Society, and Civic Education Team jointly organized the “Chinese Culture and Putonghua Fun Day” in the school hall, creating a lively atmosphere. 

      The event featured more than ten booths, including flour figurines, Chinese knots, traditional magic tricks, and tangram puzzles. Students participated with great enthusiasm and found the experience thoroughly enjoyable. The short play “Bao Gong Judges a Strange Case” was vividly performed, stirring the audience, while the juggling show won the audience’s unanimous acclaim. The activities not only showcased the richness of Chinese culture but also enhanced students’ interest in Putonghua. 

      The Recital Studio also invited alumnus Suen Ka Shing to perform Birdsong in the Empty Mountains on the erhu. Inspired by the poetic imagery of Wang Wei, he used the strings as a brush to paint a soundscape, leading the audience into the tranquil mountains to hear the birds’ voices. 「中華文化節」於2月23日至27日舉行，期間安排了豐富多彩的節目。

中國語文及文化學會、數學學會及公民教育小組合辦的「中華文化暨普通話同樂日」在學校禮堂隆重舉行，場面熱鬧。活動設有面粉公仔、中國繩結、古彩戲法及七巧板等十多個攤位，同學投入參與，樂在其中。包公審奇案短劇演繹生動，牽動全場氣氛；雜耍表演令觀眾拍案叫絕·。活動既展現中華文化的博大精深，又能提升同學對普通話的興趣。

 

演奏室製作小組亦邀請孫家盛校友用二胡演繹《空山鳥語》，以王維之詩意為引，以弦上畫境為筆，帶領觀眾步入靜謐的山林，聆聽鳥鳴。歡迎掃描二維碼觀賞。
