Annual Speech Day 2021

Date: 22/07/2022

Due to the sudden suspension of our school upon the advice of the Department of Health in mid-January, our Annual Speech Day was rescheduled from 14 January 2022 to 15 July 2022. Surprisingly, it turned out to become the first Speech Day of the school ever held in summer. On that evening, many graduates dressed up in suits and returned to school with their parents.
It was our great honour to have our distinguished alumnus, Professor Tse Hung Fat, Chairperson of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong, to be our guest of honour. As a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID 19, Professor Tse delivered his address in a pre-recorded video.
Mr. Richard Tang, son of the late Sir Tang Shiu Kin, presented certificates to graduates whereas Mr. Louis Pong, our former school supervisor, presented prizes and scholarships to the graduates.
In his annual report, our Principal Mr. Yuen encouraged the graduates to look back on their secondary school life with pride. Emboldened by God’s blessings and inspirations from the school hymn, the graduates shall continue to further develop their potential. After the former Head Prefect, Ms. Hung Kit Wing, had proposed a vote of thanks, there were two musical performances by our talented students, which ended the Speech Day ceremony on a high note.
It was a joyful and precious memory for the graduates, parents, teachers and guests, especially amid the prevailing pandemic.  We sincerely hope that our graduates will continue to do well in their studies and pursue their dreams in their life with courage and confidence.
